December 12 – Body Integration This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present? (Author: Patrick Reynolds)

May 1o, 2010.

The day I ran.

For the first time in my adult life.

I felt alive. Free. Beautiful. Strong.

Then my knee gave out.

And then my hip did something.

I’m not a runner. I fear I never will be, and that makes me sad.

But for one day, one day I was a runner. I wasn’t fast, it wasn’t pretty.

For one day, I did something I never thought I would do.

I ran.
